Artisan regularly works on kilns of various designs. This work includes replacement of chains and lines, as shown in the photograph. This requires excellent welders and trained craftsmen with great attention to safety. Artisan also repairs cracked kiln shells, works on trunions, pulls and reinstalls burner pipes and installs temporary ramps for refractory repair. This work is typically performed on a 24/7 shift. Artisan performs regularly-scheduled, as well as emergency plant shutdowns in the lime, cement, coal and power industries. Projects of this scope demonstrate critical safety knowledge, efficiency and customer service.
