Project: Anode Stripper Foundation
Client: Noranda Aluminum, Inc.

Artisan Contracting was the general contractor on this project, which required design and installation of a deep shoring system that included a combination of sheet pile, soldier beams and lagging.

This project was complicated by the fact that it was built inside of an existing operating facility with very low headroom, requiring specialized equipment, critical safety considerations and intense coordination with plant operations.

Artisan self-performed the work and installed all of the concrete foundations to receive the new anode stripper.
